Junior Marketing Researcher & Research Technician

Neural Sense is a neuromarketing company that uses cutting edge consumer neuroscience and biometric technologies in marketing research. We're not your typical research agency, we're more of a tech start-up that's revolutionising the marketing research industry through neuroscience.
We're looking for a young, super smart and passionate "Junior Marketing Researcher & Research Technician" that will need to fulfil the following roles:
Junior Marketing Researcher and Research Technician:
Primary Roles:

Assist with research fieldwork and data collection, including setting up the necessary neuromarketing equipment hardware and software programs. Note that the successful candidate will receive in-depth training on all neuromarketing research technologies and methodologies - so no prior experience in this specific field is required (just a willingness to learn a new skillset). However, the candidate must be proficient in operating computer programs/software, have a keen interest in technology and good technical acumen.

Assist with the coordination of fieldwork logistics and monitoring the progress of data collection (neuromarketing research methodologies as well as focus groups, in-depth interviews and surveys when required).

Directing and undertaking internal pilot studies and research fieldwork to validate proprietary Neural Sense research methodologies and technologies
Secondary Roles:

Assist with experimental design, collating information and interpreting data; presenting findings and making recommendations based on the data collected to clients in an easy-to-understand way

Assist with writing research reports by interpreting data (both qualitative and quantitative) and assimilating statistics, using statistical software

Identifying and advising about new possible research methodologies
The individual should ideally have 1-2 years of work experience within the marketing research, marketing and/or advertising fields and be new to the job market or in an Entry/Junior level position. The ideal candidate would be someone with a marketing/research diploma or degree and 1-2 years of industry experience.
Gross salary would range from R8,500 - R12,500/month depending on skill set and experience.
